Mum & Baby Yoga

 

Back by popular demand are my Mum & Baby Yoga classes! The postnatal yoga course is specifically designed by Birthlight to ease you back to your pre-baby strength whilst entertaining baby along the way.

We work gently and carefully, working in tune with the postnatal body and mind. The classes are very relaxed and fun. My experience as a Midwife and Mum mean that I understand where you are and how hard is in the early days, so it’s my job to look after you and gift you with some precious time and space.

The yoga is suitable for you no matter what kind of birth you have had, or whether you have no or some experience of yoga. The groups are a wonderful way to meet other local Mums, to have a little ‘you’ time to restore and recoup some of your valuable energy. We enjoy a little relaxation at the end of each session - believe it or not the babies usually join in with this!

Courses are run in 4 week blocks, we meet each Tuesday morning at Burghfield Common Methodist Church Hall at 11-12.

I fully expect your baby to need to be fed / cuddled / changed at various points throughout the class, and it’s all welcomed. There are baby change facilities available, or feel free to change baby where you are on your mat.

All you need to bring:

  • A Yoga mat

  • Loose comfy clothing

  • A blanket for baby to lay on
